Under the direction of our Calgary-based Alberta directors, Sam Armstrong and Devin Iversen, the NCC has developed a new strategy for encouraging change in Alberta's government under Premier Stelmach. It is true that many of the NCC's national campaigns resonate strongly in Alberta, but we have also identified some issue-areas that are unique to it. They demand our attention because they speak to fundamentals - the economic future of the province, the health and well-being of its citizens and the basic freedoms that sustain Alberta's democratic traditions. The five issue-areas are set out below, and we are asking for your input as well.
